Glued Paper- Marriage
Mat 19:6 KJV - Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.Adrian Rogers made a most interesting statement on his 12 Nov 2008 radio show, Love Worth Finding:
In a marriage, people are like to pieces of construction paper glued together. Once they are stuck together, they cannot be pulled apart without damage to both pages.
Another quote he made, God made husbands and wives, men and women to be different, so that we may be one. Yeah, I know, I can't remember the exact wording, so I guess this is just another paraphrase.
Yet, another near-quote: Broken homes produce broken people. Broken people produce broken homes. Then, those broken homes produce broken people. The only answer to this lose-lose cycle is the LORD JESUS CHRIST! Kevin's Komment is...Amen!
